today is the day and the video for the latest BEATSTEAKS song embarks its journey. The song is called TICKET, and the repercussions of that can be seen in the following clip.
The video was conceived, shot and produced by AUGE ALTONA/Timo Schienhorn and UWE, who have previously been thinking, shooting and producing for DEICHKIND / DIE GOLDENEN ZITRONEN / TOCOTRONIC / 1000 ROBOTA, among others. A big thank you from Berlin to Hamburg!!!
On September 18, 2015 we will release our album 23 SINGLES. On it, you will find every single ever released (remastered!) by us as well as two new songs called TICKET and MAD RIVER: “Tight shit!” (Peter Baumann).
Both songs were recorded by us in Vienna at Westbam Studio in June 2015. The producer is Zebo Adam, who some of you might know as the producer of BILDERBUCH. Both songs were recorded and mixed by Alex „Feia“ Tomann.
The Album 23 SINGLES will be released as: 180g Double Vinyl LP (incl. download code), CD digipak and download, at all the usual outlets. Those of you pre-ordering 23 SINGLES will receive the song TICKET in advance right now.
Over the course of August, depending on just how fast the dear people at Optimal pressing plant in Röbel / Müritz can get the work done, TICKET will be released as 7” SINGLE with covers hand-drawn (!!!) by us.
The b-side will contain a remix called MAKE A WISH VS. THE KRAUTS, recorded, produced, remixed and re-composed by THE KRAUTS featuring MARTERIA / CASPER / SSIO and FELIX BRUMMER of KRAFTKLUB!!!! THE SONG WILL BE AVAILABLE As DOWNLOAD AT THE SAME TIME!
